Dear CFU friends,
In light of the current crisis, Colorado Free University will be suspending classes April. As you can imagine this is an extraordinary and painful decision for us. Our first priority is to take care of our students and teachers. We also feel that it is important to do our part to support the overall community as we strive to contain the spread of CO-Vid19.
If you are currently enrolled in a class, we will be reaching out to reschedule you for a later session or to move the class to an online platform.
As you know, CFU has always valued connection and face-to-face learning. But, under the circumstances we will be exploring what learning opportunities we can provide through online platforms. It is our sincere hope that once the danger has abated, that you will rejoin us in class.
We appreciate your patience and your support as we contend with this difficult situation. It has been our mission to provide affordable and accessible classes to the community. As a result, we operate on a thin margin. Our goal is to take this pause and do our part to help slow the spread of the virus. With the support of our students, we hope to resume our full programs in a few weeks.
Sending you all wishes for good health and for the well-being of our community.
Helen Hand
CFU President
