CFU does Halloween the class-y way.
Oct. 19 & 26, 2016 — Storytelling with a Spooky Twist Bill Smith, of the Actor’s Studio, teaches voice over classes at CFU. In this storytelling class, he teaches techniques for crafting and delivering an effective narrative. A well-told tale enhances your message, and being able to share a colorful tale adds to your charisma. The skills you learn are applicable to all personal and professional settings, but you’ll have fun telling some spooky stories.
Oct. 26, 2016 — Spirits of the Night: An Old-fashioned Talking Board Session with Will Christy Join local intuitive Will Christy for a good old-fashioned talking board (similar to a Ouija Board) session and see what the spirits have to say this Halloween.
Phil Goodstein, Denver’s colorful historian, makes the Halloween season memorable with his Ghost Walks on Capitol Hill. Phil lets you know that spooks and spirits haunt Denver. Many hover near the Capitol. He invites you to come try to invoke some during a pleasant, relaxed two-hour stroll around parts of Capitol Hill. In addition to ghostly embodiments, we’ll also explore some of the architecture, history, and sex scandals of the region. See the multiple dates the ghost walks take place.
Oct. 27, 2016 — Cooking with Essential Oils, Halloween special Essential oils are extracts from plants that have therapeutic properties. Join this Halloween session of the class and make some essential oil infused candy to take home for the little ones — or maybe just a grown-up treat! Alana Eakin, holistic health coach, hosts this class.
