In honor of the 10th anniversary of 9/11 Firehouse Theater Company presents the regional premier of “The Guys” by Anne Nelson. This healing and uplifting drama tells the story of a Fire Station captain who enlists the help of a journalist to write eulogies for his men that died in World Trade Center. The play pays tribute to all first responders, those people who rush in when the rest of us rush out. This play was first staged in New York in 2001 and will return with its original star, Sigourney Weaver to the Flea Theater in September (http://artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/08/09/ten-years-later-the-guys-will-return-to-commemorate-911/).
