This six-week class is taught by one of Denver’s most highly regarded actors, directors and performance coaches, Andrew Uhlenhopp. But don’t let that intimidate you–Andrew’s focus is on making the classes enjoyable and accessible for everyone. So even if you just want to dip your toe in to see what it’s all about, Beginning Acting is a fantastic place to start.
Andrew Uhlenhopp was an instructor and coach for three years in New York City at The Sally Johnson Studio. He completed the graduate program at The National Shakespeare Conservatory, and studied at The Stella Adler Studio of Acting. He has been acting, directing, and writing for more than thirty years, and graduated with a degree in Theater Arts from Knox College. A very popular actor, he has appeared on stage of just about every community theater in Denver. His love for the art is infectious and he’s eager to give you a taste of what a joy it is.
